Bruce Forman's J17H Elektra

It was actually supposed to be my inventory guitar for the workshop, but he enjoyed playing it so much and made it sound so beautiful that he asked me to let him have it.  

And how could I possibly deny Bruce Forman his wish? Besides, she’s seen in public more often in his hands and at his gigs than when she’s hanging in my workshop. So it’s a win-win for everyone...

The only thing was, the guitar was finished in Cognac Sunburst, and Bruce always needs his guitars in Red. So, off with the old finish and the guitar was quickly repainted in wine red. Voilà—that’s how I personally delivered it to him in New York, where he immediately presented Lucy to the public at a workshop.

Bruce christened her Lucy; she’s now the sister of his J16H Ballade named Ruby.
